3D Modelling
I use the industry leading Archicad software to 'build' a digital model of the proposed building which can be seen from all angles, 'walked through' and turned into near-photorealistic 'rendered' images. Modelling is an invaluable tool for structural design and seeing how the final project will look. Using a 3D model also allows sun-studies to be carried out to see the shading and lighting effects of natural sunlight on the exterior and interior of the building for any time of the year. This is particularly useful for designing shading elements and windows to achieve good solar passive design.

on your computer
A further service that can now be provided is a VBE or 'Virtual Building Explorer' file that is a stand-alone .EXE file that can be run on your own home computer (subject to computer hardware and OS requirements) so that you can walk through or fly around the proposed building at your leisure. It's simple navigating through the model with arrow keys and mouse and it provides a great additional method of assessing the project design and how it will suit your needs. This service can be provided early in the design stage before construction documentation starts so that changes can easily be incorporated into the final plans. For developers wanting to sell off-plan, 3D imaging and VBE files can be invaluable sales tools for prompt pre-sale.

Colour and finishes matching. For example external paint or Colorbond colours and brick selections etc can be applied to the model to help in colour scheme decision making.
Full site modelling/presentation rendered images to include fencing, landscaping, paving, lighting etc to provide an in-context, photorealistic view of the building.
Full internal modelling/presentation rendered images, for example; showing colour selection to the kitchen.
